Minute record, 1850-1941.

A summary record of daily proceedings before the Court. Content varies but record may include title of cause, various actions taken in the case, and a summary of trial proceedings. The latter includes lists of witnesses called, appearances and motions by attorneys, instructions to the jury, jury verdicts, and texts of judgments and sentences levied in criminal cases. Some minutes also include a record of the court calendar for the session, recesses, continuations, selections of jurors, declaration of intentions to become a citizen, and memorial eulogies for judges and attorneys.
